Junior Developer

We are seeking a Junior Developer to work within the Catastrophe Modelling department of a Broking firm.

This role will be focused on:

-Designing and implementing new front-end technology for the client's existing automation platform (built in Python), using modern web technologies

-Helping with the backend implementation

-Working closely with modellers and analysts to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions

-Confidently presenting solutions to key stakeholders, so good communication skills are required

-Requires a proactive, analytical thinker with strong technical skills in Python (backend), JavaScript/React (frontend) and Azure cloud technology (or similar)

The working pattern is hybrid, with an expectation of being in the office for around 3 days per week out of the 5 day working week.
