Job summary

The Divisional Digital Business Partner will act as the primary liaison between clinical and corporate divisions and the Digital function, ensuring digital services, transformation initiatives, and technology solutions align with operational and strategicobjectivesacross the Trust.

The postholder will work collaboratively with divisional leaders, clinicians, operational managers, and technical teams toidentifyopportunities for digital innovation, improve service delivery, support transformation programmes, and maximise the benefits of digital technologies in patient care and operational performance.

The role will support the delivery of the Trust's digital strategy, promoting user engagement, digital adoption, service improvement, and data-driven decision-making.

Main duties of the job

Relationship Management & Business Partnering

  • Develop strong working relationships with divisional leadership teams, clinical services, operational managers, and corporate departments.

  • Act as the key point of contact for digital requirements withinallocateddivisions.

  • Provide digital advice and guidance to support operational and strategic priorities.

  • Represent Digital Services at divisional meetings,programmeboards, and operational forums.

  • Build stakeholder confidence in digital services through effective communication and engagement.

  • Support implementation of new systems, upgrades, andoptimisationprojects.

  • Promote best practice in digital innovation, user-centreddesign, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Project & Change Support

  • Contribute to digital transformationprogrammesand projects across the Trust.

  • Support change management activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, training coordination, and adoption monitoring.

  • Assistin the development of business cases,benefitsrealisationplans, and project documentation.

  • Monitor progress against agreed milestones and escalate risks/issues appropriately.

Operational Support & Governance

  • Ensure divisional digital priorities are appropriately logged, tracked, and managed.

  • Work collaboratively with technical and operational teams to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.

  • Support compliance with NHS digital standards, information governance, cyber security, and data protection requirements.

  • Contribute to service reviews, audits, reporting, and performance monitoring.

Data, Reporting & BenefitsRealisation

  • Support divisions in using digital tools and data to improve operational and clinical performance.

  • Assistin measuring and reporting benefits from digital initiatives.

  • Analysetrends, user feedback, and service data toidentifyimprovement opportunities.

  • Produce reports, presentations, and updates for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Essential
  • Masters Level qualification in relevant discipline or equivalent experience in Digital, Informatics, IT, Business Change, or related discipline.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable
  • Business Analysis Qualification
  • Prince2, Agile, MSP, or change management qualifications

Experience

Essential
  • Experience working within digital transformation, IT, informatics, or service improve2ment roles.
  • Experience engaging with clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting projects or change programmes.
  • Experience analysing and interpreting service requirements and translating into practical solutions.
Desirable
  • Experience with benefits realisation and business case development.
