Project Manager

Project Manager – Based in Watford - £40,000 to £50,000

Are you a Project Manager who enjoys driving real change and improving the way a business operates?

Do you want to play a key role in a major digital transformation programme where your work will have a visible and lasting impact?

We are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded, family-run SME based near Watford. Known for its strong values, collaborative culture and ambitious growth plans, this is a business where people genuinely enjoy working and where your contribution will be recognised. They are now looking to appoint a Project Manager to support the delivery of a business-critical transformation programme over the next 12–18 months.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and the existing Project Manager to deliver a range of key initiatives focused on improving systems, processes and overall efficiency. You will be involved in projects such as the implementation of a new customer portal, embedding operational workflows into new systems, and supporting integrations across multiple platforms. It is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring everything runs smoothly and delivers real value to the business.

You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders across departments and ensuring clear communication throughout. You will identify risks early, resolve issues effectively and maintain momentum across multiple workstreams. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to bring structure and organisation, and confident influencing people at all levels.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Project Manager or similar role, ideally within an SME or a business undergoing change. You will have a track record of delivering internal projects focused on systems, processes or operational improvements, along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential, as is the ability to take ownership and drive projects forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at a pivotal point in its journey, where you can genuinely make an impact and see the results of your work. The role is offered on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension depending on project progress.

If you are looking for a role where you can take ownership, drive meaningful change and be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, we would love to hear from you.

If this is you please apply ASAP as the recruitment process is likely to move swiftly.
