Full Stack Developer - Christchurch - up to £55,000 DOE Our client based in Christchurch, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help scale their flagship platform, for a growing global user base.The successful candidate will work across the stack - from PHP back end to front end - delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring junior developers and influencing technical direction.Key responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to the development team.
• Plan, organise, and oversee software development projects from concept to release.
• Conduct code reviews, establish coding standards, and ensure maintainable, high-quality code.
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Support the growth and development of junior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to keep quarterly projects on track.
• Research, adopt, and implement new technologies and best practices to continuously improve the platform.
• Shadow the Engineering Manager and deputise when required.

Skills required:

• Strong PHP (Laravel or similar), TypeScript, SQL skills.
• Experience with Angular (or React/VueJS with willingness to learn Angular).
• 5+ years in software development, Agile/Scrum experience.
• Leadership, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
