ION Developer

Role: ION Developer

Contract length: 6 months

Requirements:

• Delivering upgrades and enhancements across ION Repo components.
• Analysing existing ION configurations, workflows, interfaces, and downstream dependencies.
• Supporting changes across trade capture, lifecycle events, confirmations, settlement, P&L, risk, and reporting flows.
• Working with business analysts and repo trading users to understand functional requirements.
• Configuring and customising ION workflows, rules, static data, and integrations.
• Developing, testing, and deploying changes in line with release management standards.
• Investigating defects across UAT, regression testing, production support, and go-live phases.
• Liaising with ION vendor teams where required.
• Producing technical documentation and handover materials for support teams.
• Front-office and middle-office workflows.
• SQL, Unix/Linux, scripting, and log analysis.
• Interfaces between ION and downstream systems such as settlement, risk, finance, confirmations, or reporting platforms.
• Java, C#, Python, or similar programming languages, depending on the client stack.
• XML, FIX, MQ, APIs, batch processes, and interface troubleshooting.
