Network Team Lead

Client: Investment Bank

Location: Bank, London (3 days in office)

Role: Network Team Lead

Direct reports: 10-15

Salary: £125k + bonus

Requirements/Experience:

• Lead and manage a team of 10 network engineers, providing technical direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimisation of the enterprise network environment.
• Design, implement, and support secure network solutions using Palo Alto, Check Point, and Cisco ACI technologies.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of network engineers in a large-scale environment.
• Strong technical expertise in:
• Palo Alto Firewalls (policy design, Panorama management, troubleshooting)
• Check Point Firewalls (R80+, SmartConsole, policy optimisation)
• Cisco ACI (fabric design, APIC management, L2/L3 networking)
• Solid understanding of routing, switching, VPNs, and network security principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
