Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst – Corporate Actions

Location: Moorgate, London (5 days onsite)

Contract: 6-month rolling

Rate: £600-£700 per day (Inside IR35)

We are partnering with a global investment bank on a strategic transformation programme within their Corporate Actions function. They are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the onboarding and integration of a new cloud-based Corporate Actions platform, working across middleware, data transformation, and vendor systems. This is a highly technical role requiring strong experience across both business analysis and systems integration within financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document detailed business and functional requirements across the corporate actions landscape
  • Support the onboarding and integration of third-party/vendor systems
  • Collaborate with business, operations, architecture, and engineering teams to define target processes and workflows
  • Map as-is and to-be processes across corporate actions operations and supporting technology
  • Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, data mapping, and gap analysis
  • Work closely with technical teams on middleware integration, interfaces, and system dependencies
  • Analyse and define data transformation requirements across multiple systems and data feeds
  • Support delivery within a cloud-based environment
  • Assist with UAT planning and execution, including test scenario definition
  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams

Required Experience

  • Extensive experience as a Business Analyst within financial services
  • Strong background in Corporate Actions projects and systems
  • Proven experience with third-party/vendor system onboarding and integration
  • Solid understanding of middleware, APIs, messaging, and systems integration
  • Experience in data mapping, data transformation, and process analysis
  • Exposure to cloud-based platforms or transformation programmes
  • Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills
  • Experience supporting testing phases, including UAT

Desirable Skills

  • Experience within asset servicing, custody, post-trade, or securities operations
  • Knowledge of corporate actions lifecycle (events, entitlements, elections, income processing)
  • Experience delivering system migration or transformation programmes
  • Familiarity with vendor platforms in the corporate actions space
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
