Head of Informatics / ICB – Contract, Income & Billing Assurance

📍 Sussex (Hybrid)

💰 £60,000–£70,000 | 12-Month FTC

We’re looking for a senior Informatics leader with mandatory ICB experience to play a key role in strengthening contract performance, income assurance, and data quality across our organisation.

This is a high-impact opportunity sitting at the intersection of data, finance, and commissioning, where you’ll lead on contract billing validation, income reporting, and system-level analytics.

🔑 What you’ll do:

• Lead contract, income, and billing informatics at a senior level
• Provide expert insight into NHS payment mechanisms and datasets (SUS, SLAM)
• Oversee invoice validation, financial risk identification, and reconciliation
• Partner with Finance, Operations, and ICB stakeholders
• Deliver high-quality analysis to support major financial decisions

• Essential: Strong ICB experience (contracting, finance, or performance)
• Senior NHS informatics / analytics leadership background
• Expertise in NHS payment systems and income assurance
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and data modelling capability
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
