Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Operations Engineer with 5+ years' experience supporting corporate applications in enterprise environments. This role will play a key part in ensuring the stability, integration, and optimisation of critical business applications, while also leading initiatives to introduce, document, and decommission systems as part of our ongoing technology transformation.

The successful candidate will be technically inquisitive, methodical in their approach, and an excellent communicator-capable of liaising across teams, documenting changes, and ensuring knowledge is shared effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Operations

• Provide operational support for corporate applications in an enterprise environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage application integrations with various databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Administer and troubleshoot systems leveraging Azure cloud services.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot services including SMTP, SSO, Active Directory (AD), DNS, and APIs.
• Maintain and support applications running on RHEL (Linux) and Microsoft Windows platforms.

Project & Implementation Work

• Agiloft CLM Implementation - Oversee and document the introduction of Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) into the business, ensuring technical and operational readiness despite evolving strategy.
• CyberArk Integration - Liaise with the CyberArk implementation team, document processes, and share knowledge to support operational handover.
• Application Decommissioning - Drive the retirement of End-of-Life (EoL) applications such as Teamcenter 9 and PTC Windchill, ensuring successful migration to TCU.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Produce clear, detailed technical documentation for new and existing systems.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer across technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Maintain operational runbooks, system diagrams, and integration records.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience supporting corporate applications in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Proficient in database integration with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Working knowledge of SMTP, SSO, Active Directory, DNS, and API integrations.
• Solid experience with RHEL (Linux) and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a dynamic, changing environment.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience implementing or supporting Agiloft CLM.
• Exposure to CyberArk Privileged Access Management.
• Experience in application decommissioning projects.
• Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems, particularly Teamcenter and PTC Windchill.
