Salary/Package: £125k-£135k + RSUs + Bonus (£200k total comp)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a talented, senior team working on some of the most technically challenging and business-critical systems in the company - enterprise-scale data lifecycle management.

You’ll guide a high-performing group of engineers, shape architecture and strategy, and ensure that enterprise customers can manage and trust their data at massive scale.

It’s a role with real impact, where every decision touches millions of users.

What You’ll Be Doing

✨ Leading and mentoring a team of experienced engineers - keeping them engaged, motivated, and aligned around shared goals.

🧭 Setting technical direction: shaping architecture, reviewing systems, and driving engineering best practices.

🤝 Partnering closely with product, operations, and business leaders to align priorities and deliver results that matter.

💡 Exploring how AI and automation can help improve compliance, governance, and data usability.

⚙️ Owning delivery of scalable, cross-product systems that ensure customers have full control over their data.

This isn’t a “hands-off” role - you’ll stay 30–40% hands-on , contributing to design discussions and helping the team tackle complex technical problems.

What We’re Looking For

✅ 3+ years’ experience leading high-performing engineering teams (ideally with senior or staff-level engineers).

✅ Strong full-stack or backend background – ideally with Node.js, React, Kafka or similar.

✅ A balance of strategic thinking and bias for action – someone who can move things forward, not overthink them.

✅ Excellent stakeholder management – you know how to align technical and business priorities and build strong relationships across teams.

✅ A passion for technical excellence and building reliable, scalable systems that solve real customer problems.
