I’m hiring a Staff & Senior Backend Engineers for a high-growth, post-Series B marketplace building the AI-native backbone of secondhand commerce.

This is not feature work.

This is architectural ownership.

Stack: Node, TypeScript, AI/ML-integrated services (Open to languages)

You will:

• Define backend architecture across core marketplace systems

• Work in sync with best in-class design & product teams

• Design for millions of unique items and cross-border transactions

• Integrate AI classification engines into production commerce flows

• Partner directly with product leadership on system direction

Today: 500K+ items/month

Tomorrow: Millions

They need someone who:

– Thinks in systems, not endpoints

– Has scaled consumer or marketplace platforms

– Balances velocity with long-term architecture

– Elevates the technical bar across teams

– Is comfortable in ambiguity and founder-led environments
