Remote | Long-Term Contract | Global MedTech Client
We are currently supporting a leading global MedTech organisation on a large-scale SAP transformation programme and are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Integration Consultant to join their Customer Service Global Template Team.
This is a long-term remote contract opportunity with occasional travel required based on project and client needs.
The Role
As a Senior SAP FICO Consultant, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of Finance integration topics related to SAP S/4HANA Service Management. Working across Finance, Controlling, Revenue Recognition, Costing, and Customer Service teams, you will help define and implement global template solutions that support complex service-related financial processes.
This role is ideal for a consultant with strong Finance and Controlling expertise who has experience integrating SAP Service Management or Customer Service processes within large-scale S/4HANA transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of Finance integration for SAP S/4HANA Service Management processes.
- Work closely with Finance, Controlling, Revenue Recognition, Costing, and Customer Service stakeholders to align business and system requirements.
- Define and validate financial process flows covering service orders, service contracts, revenues, costs, and profitability reporting.
- Support Margin Analysis (CO-PA), Item-Based Accounting, account determination, profit centre derivation, and revenue recognition topics.
- Ensure solutions comply with global reporting and accounting requirements.
- Collaborate with global deployment teams and other programme workstreams to communicate and document template changes.
- Participate in workshops, testing activities, defect resolution, and cutover planning.
Required Experience
Strong SAP S/4HANA FICO background with particular focus on:
- Controlling (CO-OM)
- CO-PA/Margin Analysis
- Universal Journal
- Proven experience integrating SAP Service Management (SM) or Customer Service (CS) processes with Finance and Controlling.
Strong understanding of service-related financial processes, including:
- Costing
- Revenue Recognition
- Profitability Reporting
- Account Determination
- Experience working within global template and transformation programmes.
- Ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
Desirable Experience
- Item-Based Accounting (IBA)
- Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR)
- Experience within highly regulated industries such as MedTech, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Pharmaceuticals.
