SAP S/4HANA Finance/Tax Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance/Tax Consultant to support global S/4HANA template rollouts, with a strong focus on tax processes and localisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver global template rollouts across Finance/Tax, including documentation, implementation, testing, and training
  • Analyse local requirements and design localisation solutions aligned to the global template
  • Maintain and safeguard global processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams on future enhancements
  • Translate business tax requirements into functional SAP solutions and manage related changes
  • Drive end-to-end deployment activities across the full rollout life cycle
  • Ensure alignment across parallel deployments and S/4HANA workstreams
  • Monitor and optimise finance and tax processes for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work closely with stakeholders across E2E processes to ensure smooth delivery
  • Lead workshops and solution design sessions under template governance
  • Support business process operations and integrated training activities
  • Travel as required (up to ~25%)

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years of relevant experience in SAP Finance/Tax
  • Strong experience with SAP FI, SAP ERP, and S/4HANA transformations
  • Proven background in global template rollouts and deployment projects

SAP Tax Expertise

  • Solid experience across:
    • Indirect Taxes
    • Withholding Taxes
    • Corporate Income Taxes
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA tax capabilities, including:
    • Country-specific solutions
    • SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
    • S/4HANA Finance implementations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with external tax engines such as Sovos (TLI) or OneSource
  • Exposure to large-scale global programmes and multi-country deployments
