Senior Techno-Functional SAP SD Deployment Lead

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Techno-Functional SAP SD Deployment Lead to support a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme within the Pharma/MedTech space.

This is a long-term contract where you will take ownership of SAP SD deployments, leading delivery and ensuring alignment between business and technical teams across multiple rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP SD deployments within a global S/4HANA programme
• Drive end-to-end delivery across design, build, test, and deployment phases
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Lead and coordinate large, cross-functional teams across multiple locations
• Facilitate workshops and translate business requirements into SAP SD solutions
• Oversee system configuration, integration, and solution design within S/4HANA
• Ensure alignment with global templates and deployment standards
• Manage risks, dependencies, and timelines across SAP SD delivery
• Lead UAT, cutover planning, and go-live activities
• Provide leadership and guidance to functional and technical consultants

Required Experience

• Extensive experience as an SAP SD Consultant within S/4HANA environments
• Proven experience leading SAP SD deployments (essential)
• Strong techno-functional expertise (configuration + solution design)
• Strong experience with intercompany processes (STO, billing, cross-company flows)
• Experience leading large, distributed teams
• Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C)/SD processes
• Proven track record in global rollout/deployment programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in Pharma or MedTech projects (essential)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Conga (CLM/CPQ) or similar contract/document management tools
• Experience with global template rollouts
• Integration knowledge (eg FI, MM, TM, EDI)
• Experience working in regulated environments
