Founding Engineer
Enterprise Software Engineer, Founding Team
Company: Brade (Early-stage startup)
Location: Remote (US/EU overlap preferred)
Seniority: Mid–Senior (flexible)
Reports to: CTO
Compensation: Competitive salary + meaningful early equity
About the job
Brade is a technology SaaS company leveraging AI agents for industrial distribution. Our v1 is live, and we’re now scaling into larger enterprise deployments.
This role is about turning a working product into enterprise-grade infrastructure that operators trust daily. It’s a product + systems role (not research).
Responsibilities
- Own and ship critical enterprise workflows end-to-end (ingestion → reasoning → action → audit)
- Turn messy operational inputs (emails, PDFs, order data, ERP exports) into reliable, structured outputs
- Improve reliability, observability, and failure handling across production systems
- Integrate with enterprise systems (ERP, email, auth, internal APIs)
- Collaborate directly with founders and pilot customers to refine requirements
- Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, correctness, and safety
- Deliver production code that supports real operational teams quickly
Required
- Experience shipping production systems end-to-end
- Experience integrating with external systems (APIs, auth, file pipelines, messaging)
- Strong engineering judgment and ability to operate in ambiguity
- Experience working with AI-powered systems (LLMs, workflow engines, copilots)
Preferred
- Familiarity with enterprise authentication (SSO, RBAC)
- Experience with ERP or operational systems
- Early-stage startup experience
- Small team, high ownership
- Direct collaboration with founders
- Fast iteration with real customer feedback
- Strong bias toward reliability and measurable value
- We move quickly — but we build systems customers can trust
- Shape how AI copilots are deployed into industrial environments
- Influence core architectural decisions early
- Meaningful ownership in a company already shipping a real product
Please send:
- A short note on why this stage excites you
- Links to systems or products you’ve built (GitHub, portfolio, write-ups, etc.)
We care most about what you’ve shipped and owned.
