I am currently working with a large international organisation that is continuing to invest in the development of its procurement capability as the business grows globally.

As part of this expansion, they are looking to appoint a Category Manager within Technology Procurement to support sourcing activity across a broad portfolio of IT related spend.

This role will focus on delivering commercial value across areas such as software, SaaS, technology services and digital solutions, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across technology and business teams.

The position sits within a collaborative procurement team where there will be strong exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to develop deeper expertise within technology sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting sourcing activity across software, SaaS and IT services categories

• Managing supplier relationships with a range of global technology providers

• Running RFx processes and supporting commercial negotiations

• Partnering with internal stakeholders to support technology purchasing decisions

• Delivering cost optimisation and commercial value across technology spend

• Ensuring procurement processes and governance standards are followed

Ideal Background:

• Experience within IT Procurement, Technology Procurement or strategic sourcing

• Exposure to software, cloud, digital or technology services procurement

• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability

• Experience working within structured procurement processes

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
