Global Category Manager | Technology Procurement - Leading Global Ftse 100

Global Category Manager | Technology Procurement - Leading Global Ftse 100

London | Hybrid - £90,000 - £110,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

This isn't a role for someone who has already done everything.

It's a role for someone capable of doing much more.

We're partnering with a high-performing global organisation that is investing heavily in technology, digital transformation and AI. As part of that journey, they are looking to hire an ambitious procurement professional with the potential to become one of the future leaders of the function.

This role is not aimed at someone who has reached the peak of their procurement career. Instead, it is designed for a high-calibre individual on a steep upward trajectory; someone who has built strong foundations, consistently delivered results and is now looking for an environment that will accelerate their development.

You'll work alongside experienced procurement leaders, gain exposure to senior stakeholders across multiple regions and take ownership of strategic technology spend on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute category strategies across a broad technology portfolio

• Lead complex sourcing and negotiation projects

• Partner with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions

• Support major transformation and digital investment programmes

• Drive commercial value, innovation and supplier performance

• Gain exposure to global procurement leadership and strategic decision-making

Who We're Looking For:

• Approximately 5-8 years' procurement experience

• Strong experience across technology procurement, including areas such as software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, telecoms or IT services

• A track record of delivering strategic sourcing projects and commercial outcomes

• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills

• Experience gained within a recognised blue-chip, multinational or high-performing procurement environment

• Strong academic credentials preferred

• Someone who has progressed quickly throughout their career and demonstrates clear leadership potential

This could be an excellent fit for a Senior Buyer, Procurement Specialist or Category Manager looking to take the next significant step in their career.

• Global category exposure and responsibility

• Significant investment in technology and AI

• High visibility across senior leadership teams

• Outstanding learning and development opportunities

• Clear long-term progression potential

• £90,000 - £110,000 base salary plus bonus and benefits

For ambitious procurement professionals looking for more than just their next job, this is an opportunity to join an organisation where future leaders are developed, not hired.
