A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Procurement professional to join its Global Sourcing function on an interim basis.
As Interim Global IT Procurement Manager , you will support a wide range of IT sourcing and category activities, partnering with senior technology and business stakeholders to deliver commercially robust outcomes across Software, IT Services, Hardware, and Digital/Technology spend within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to senior IT, Technology, and business stakeholders, supporting both strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across multiple IT categories, including software, IT services, hardware, and cloud/technology solutions.
- Develop and manage key supplier relationships, driving value through effective negotiation, contract management, and performance governance.
- Support IT category strategy development, demand management, and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Ensure sourcing activity aligns with Financial Services regulatory, risk, and third-party governance requirements.
Required Background
- Proven experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and IT Category Management , ideally within Financial Services or other regulated sectors .
- Broad IT category knowledge covering software, hardware, IT services, and technology-enabled solutions .
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior IT and business leaders.
- Solid understanding of vendor management, commercial negotiation, and third-party risk .
