Interim IT Procurement Manager – Financial Services Technology

Central London – 3 Days per Week | £500–£600 per day Inside IR35 | Immediate / Quick Start

I’m partnering with a fast-paced Financial Services Technology organisation that is looking to appoint an Interim IT Procurement Manager to support its Technology Procurement function.

This is a hands-on interim role requiring someone who can start quickly, hit the ground running and operate confidently across a broad range of IT subcategories.

The Role:

  • Manage procurement activity across a broad portfolio of Technology spend
  • Work across IT subcategories including Software, SaaS, Cloud, Infrastructure, Hardware, Telecoms and IT Services
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing, tendering and supplier selection processes
  • Manage complex supplier negotiations and contract renewals
  • Identify cost savings and wider commercial opportunities
  • Partner with senior Technology, Finance and business stakeholders
  • Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide commercial challenge and support across key technology suppliers

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong IT / Technology Procurement experience
  • Experience across multiple IT subcategories, rather than specialising in one area
  • Strong strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation experience
  • Ability to independently manage procurement projects from end to end
  • Commercially strong with the confidence to challenge suppliers and stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Financial Services or Technology sector experience would be advantageous
  • Available immediately or at short notice

This would suit an experienced IT Procurement Manager who enjoys broad category exposure and can quickly add value within a fast-moving Technology environment.
