This Technology Procurement Lead will be responsible for:

  • Driving a pipeline of strategic sourcing activity aligned to enterprise-wide digital, AI, and technology transformation programmes
  • Leading end-to-end sourcing for high-value, multi-million-pound software and AI-enabled application deals, from requirements definition through to negotiation, contract award, and supplier management
  • Developing and managing strategic relationships with niche software, SaaS, AI, and cloud vendors to deliver innovation and long-term value

Required background:

  • Proven track record in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Category Management, with demonstrable commercial impact (cost savings, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and supplier strategy)
  • Strong understanding of the IT Software, AI, and Technology vendor landscape (essential), ideally including SaaS, cloud, and AI-enabled digital applications
  • Experience within a complex, global, matrixed technology organisation highly desirable
  • Degree educated; MCIPS, ITIL or Prince2 qualifications advantageous but not essential

This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing procurement function at a pivotal moment in its transformation journey, working directly with a world-class CPO and leadership team. You will play a key role in shaping a newly created technology procurement capability within a globally recognised technology organisation undergoing significant AI and digital transformation, with clear progression towards Procurement Director level.
