Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Remote role with only one day per month attending the office in London (your travel will be expensed for this day)
Salary - Up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Our client, a fantastic charitable organisation, is looking to recruit a software developer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and focused Software Developer to closely with the Technical Lead. The purpose of this role will be to enhance and improve their website and bespoke back-office policyholder system to ensure that these meet the changing needs of the business. They are looking for a competitive, high energy, motivated individual who enjoys a challenge whilst acting with integrity at all times.
Key Duties -
- Maintain and enhance their back-office policyholder system and customer-facing website.
- Develop new computer systems, when appropriate.
- Provide technical analysis, design and development capabilities.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure each solution meets the needs of the business.
- Automate testing of application changes.
- Implement one-off or regular reporting and data processing activities.
- Contribute to our development and project delivery processes.
Person Specification
Knowledge, skills and qualifications
- C#
- MS SQL Server
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- One or more of the following:
- ASP.NET MVC
- WPF
- SSDT
- REST APIs
- Azure services, including Azure SQL, App Services, and Message
- Queues
- Mobile app development
- CI/CD
Business Skills
- Sound presentation skills to both small and large audiences of varying occupational groups.
- Strong customer service attitude with the ability to build lasting and productive business relationships.
- Understanding of the customer experience.

- Be highly motivated to deliver quality
- Exceptional communication skills with strong interpersonal and team working skills.
