Finance Systems Manager

An international media firm is seeking a Finance Systems Manager to join the team in a newly created role. This is a key appointment as the business continues to scale globally, and they need someone to support the transformation of their finance systems and processes.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving automation, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data integrity across a complex, international environment. You’ll act as the bridge between finance, technology, and the wider business - enabling efficiency and supporting sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and deliver the finance systems roadmap, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Lead system upgrades and integrations, partnering with the systems team to implement new features and automation.
• Manage and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring accurate, actionable insights.
• Oversee billing and invoicing processes, maintaining compliance and precision.
• Create clear process documentation and data flow diagrams for scalability.
• Identify and resolve system inefficiencies using analytical and technical expertise.
• Strengthen data governance and internal controls across all platforms.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams across multiple regions.
• Support and mentor system users, promoting best practices and adoption.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience implementing or managing finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics 365, Zuora).
• Strong technical skills with SQL, Python, VBA or similar.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement.
• Experience in invoicing or billing operations.
• Background in media or digital industries is highly desirable.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across global teams.
