Management Accountant

A leading global professional services firm is seeking a qualified Management Accountant to join its high-performing Group Finance team. This is a strategic and hands-on role, reporting directly to the Finance Director and based in the heart of London with flexible hybrid working.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and close-knit finance function, acting as a key business partner to cross-functional teams and taking ownership of all Group IT costs across the business.

This is a key position within the finance function, where you’ll play a proactive and autonomous role whilst also mentoring and supporting a junior accountant. Your insights will help shape the way technology and innovation are managed across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile accruals and prepayments across IT and cost centres.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed cost centre reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Calculate monthly revenue.
• Build strong relationships with IT stakeholders, providing timely financial insights.
• Collaborate with the Group Finance team and support ad-hoc finance tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or a finalist 1-2 exams left)
• Experience in a global, matrixed organisation.
• Proven track record managing IT costs and spend in a professional services environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to financial reporting and controls.
