We’re looking for talented mid and senior Java Software Engineers to join a pioneering space tech company shaping the future of software in space systems. The Role:

  • You will help shape complex software products used in real space missions.
  • You’ll work on new capabilities as well as established systems, influencing technical direction while collaborating closely with a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop, test, and maintain software elements within our ground systems.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth integration of products within our wider software suite.
  • Deliver high-quality, reliable code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Investigate and resolve software issues, providing support internally and externally.
  • This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving and seeing their work used in demanding, real-world environments.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • Strong Java experience
  • A track record of building reliable, well-structured software
  • Confidence working with software design and architecture
  • Experience taking features from concept through to delivery
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • Clear communication and a thoughtful, pragmatic approach to engineering
