Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with workstream leads to develop and maintain comprehensive plans
- Ensure timely monthly reporting to stakeholders.
- Build and nurture credible relationships with key stakeholders
- Assist in reporting project progress and findings to project management and team members.
- Identify problem areas, assess current positions, and predict trends that may affect project outcomes.
- Report significant issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure that project plans are accurate, realistic, and consistent throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend and actively contribute to project review meetings, supporting the preparation of steering and board materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management, as necessary.
Background Required:
- Proven experience in a busy planning role, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in planning software such as MS Project and MS Excel, particularly within an MS SharePoint environment.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of project management and its impact on project delivery and objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining robust project plans for large and complex project teams.
- Ability to engage with multiple internal and external parties effectively.
- Proven capability to challenge project managers and teams regarding their plans and resource assignments.
- Experience in an engineering or IT development environment is preferred.
