Job Title: Technical Architect

Max Day Rate: £550 per day

Location: Remote
As a Technical Architect, you will work with multiple projects and teams to address challenges that require broad architectural thinking. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring team members, guiding other architects, and ensuring that our technical designs align with overarching strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design of systems and services, justify and communicate design decisions, and assure the quality of services.
- Develop and evolve governance frameworks to effectively manage delivery, utilising standards, guardrails, and principles.
- Make informed decisions characterised by varying levels of risk and complexity, providing recommendations as needed.
- Define and challenge strategies, patterns, standards, policies, and roadmaps, while offering proactive guidance across the organisation.
- Design systems that are technically complex and carry significant business impact.
- Review and integrate application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational specifications.
- Provide insights into final decisions regarding hardware, network products, system software, and security measures.
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in Scala/Java 8 and Mulesoft.
- Proven experience with AWS (Amazon Cloud) and familiarity with DevOps tools.
- Expert knowledge in transforming business problems into effective technical designs and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Practitioner knowledge related to governance, assurance, strategic decision-making, and understanding the broader context within which projects operate.
