Purpose
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Floor Manager to lead our inside sales team and follow our business strategies and sales playbook. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales leadership, excellent team management skills, and a strong people management background. This role is key to achieving company sales goals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and team performance.
You will be joining a team that’s passionate about making a difference and driven to achieve targets, as a high velocity Sales environment with a high desire to help businesses succeed.
This role involves leading sales professionals in identifying new business opportunities, and then to demonstrate our award-winning software to prospects, and upselling HR, H&S & Payroll Software and advice solutions, to hit business sales targets. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales leadership and an understanding of how software solutions can support business growth, efficiency & profitability, all whilst building long-term client relationships and hitting business targets.

Hours of work
Monday – Friday (40 hours) - (Monday – Friday 8:45am – 5:30pm & Saturday 10:00am – 2:00pm (* one in four paid as overtime)
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Manage and lead a team of sales professionals to business targets, through following the business playbook
- Lead by doing, on the full sales cycle – from lead generation, qualification, solution demonstration, and proposal creation to deal closing.
- To follow our business compliance regulations & FCA guidelines
- Responsible for achieving campaign monthly & Quarterly KPIs input & output metrics for the business
- Be a subject matter expert for Bright HR products and services
- Nurture a coaching culture amongst your team of sales professionals , and coach them to success
- Oversee your sales development pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified opportunities are up to date and complaint daily
- Work with the sales team to transition leads smoothly into opportunities and ensure high conversion rates across all campaigns you are allocated
- Deliver structured sales meetings and 1-1s to your team, as per business process ensuring all points are discussed and understood.
People Management
- Lead on daily meets with Sales team management
- Have the experience to hold difficult conversations with your team around performance and conduct
- Ensure that all team’s competent and kept up to date within the business threshold from a Training & Competence perspective.
- Build strong relationships with the wider sales management team sharing ideas and best practice
Client Engagement
- Build relationships with potential clients to understand their pain points for the solutions we offer- HR & H&S Payroll needs
- To build effective relationships with existing customers, by use of probing questioning, clarification and language and source referrals through building relationships
- To add value by positively and enthusiastically discussing our company, brand, values, and products & services to ensure that a professional image is provided at all times to customers and colleagues.
- To engage and communicate professionally with decision-makers at a senior level.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and trends to advise clients effectively.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and customer success teams
- Working collaboratively with your peers whilst working collaboratively with dedicated BSCs & BDMs to ensure high team performance.
- Prepare regular daily sales reports, and deep dives to enable your team to succeed , on sales pipeline or performance
- Provide regular performance updates to the Head of Sales on business performance highlighting any challenges you are facing but with a solution in mind
- Work closely with the Sales Enablement Manager ensuring the development needs of all sales agents are being met and coaching is targeted on the correct areas of development.
Key requirements
- A proven experienced people manager
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably working in Saas solutions
- Experience in managing people in fast- growing reactive busy sales floors
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Track record in managing teams to achieve targets, and KPIs and delivering high-quality customer service
- Can demonstrate managing performance and people in a previous role(s).
- Excellent people, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to communicate value to Senior business stakeholders
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft teams , Genesys and NICE) and sales engagement platforms
- Relevant certifications (CIPD / CPP /CIPP/ or People management) are not required but a plus
