Charity Administrator

We a looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Charity Administrator to join our team. Administrative or operations experience is required. Charity administration experience is an advantage but not essential: sound administrative experience in another sector will be considered. A keen interest in the charity sector is crucial.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and who can provide a solid foundation of administrative support to the organisation, its staff, and volunteers. Most importantly, we need someone who is organised, a good listener, pragmatic and solution focussed and is passionate about helping us to continue being an effective and impactful organisation with strong administrative procedures.

Core Tasks include:

• Office management, including reception duties, welcoming visitors, answering telephone calls and managing the charity's main
• Working with the Operations Assistant to ensure the office is functioning well and is adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Equipment - Support with activities such as e-filing, ordering equipment, ensuring the phone and I.T systems are working well, liaising with our I.T. consultants when I.T. support is required, Ensuring staff have the best tools to do their jobs.
• Communications - managing the website (updating information, posting news stories, recruitment documents etc.), producing the quarterly newsletter and managing our social media accounts including the production of publicity and promotional materials.
• Supporting the Operations Assistant with data management. This includes maintaining the database (training provided), helping staff, and learning how to run reports for funders.
• Support with events and community fundraising
