Are you looking to build your career in quality assurance while supporting the delivery of reliable, high‐performing pension administration systems? In this role, you will help ensure the quality, stability and integrity of Brightwell’s administration platforms through structured testing, detailed analysis and close collaboration with technical and operational teams. Working alongside the AST Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a key part in identifying risks, improving system performance and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Support the QA Lead to develop and oversee test plans, test cases and test scripts for various administration system functionalities.
- Provide support and oversight for the testing of new and existing system features, including functional, regression and performance testing.
- Document and report defects discovered during testing, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to ensure test coverage and system requirements are met.
- Support the QA Lead in the provision of analysis and feedback on system performance and reliability.
- Participate in system design reviews to identify potential issues and improve system quality.
- Support user acceptance testing and assist users in troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain and update test documentation and quality assurance procedures.
- Provide input to the development of the team’s activities and processes to help ensure they remain as effective as possible in line with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance.

Essential
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing test plans, test cases and test scripts.
- Proven ability with functional, regression and performance testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Desirable
- Experience in pension administration systems
- Knowledge of automation testing tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile development practices.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
