Our client is a well-established health and social care organisation that supports thousands of individuals everyday to overcome complex challenges. Behind every service they offer is data that helps the organisation understand needs, improve performance and make better decisions

The Role:

As part of an existing Data & Analytics team, you will help to shape the future of data across the organisation and work across the full data lifecycle; from building robust data pipelines and modern data models to creating impactful dashboards. You'll help drive a wider data transformation journey as the organisation continues to invest in cloud technologies and modern analytics platforms, including Microsoft Fabric. This will entail:

  • Building scalable data solutions to support decision-making across multiple levels
  • Designing and developing data pipelines
  • Creating and optimizing databases, data models and reporting solutions
  • Building engaging Tableau and Power BI dashboards
  • Partner with teams across the organisation to understand business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Contributing to the development of the organisation's cloud-based data platform and future analytics capabilities.
  • Supporting data governance, security and compliance requirements, ensuring data is trusted and well managed.

Requirements:

  • Data Engineering and BI Development skills
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL and database design.
  • Experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using tools such as SSIS.
  • Experience with Tableau
  • A solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
  • Experience working with large, complex data sets.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Power BI dashboards
  • Knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and real-time data solutions.
  • Python or other scripting experience for data processing and automation.
