Software Engineer

Full Stack Software Engineer - 70% front-end / 30% back-end (React / C# / Azure / Terraform)

Location: up-to 2x/week in Leeds

Type: Contract

Rate: £500/day Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months to begin with

You'll play a key role in the delivery of applications that directly support the NHS, helping to improve patient outcomes through technology.

Tech Stack:

• Front-End: React, Next.js, Node.js
• Back-End: C#, Razor Pages
• Infrastructure: Azure (cloud hosting), deployed via Terraform and Azure DevOps Pipelines

The Role:

This is a full-stack role with a front-end focus. You'll work on modernising NHS web applications, contributing to both greenfield projects and the ongoing improvement of existing systems. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of developers, testers, and product owners to deliver robust, scalable solutions in an Azure-based environment.

What You'll Need:

• Strong experience with React and Next.js
• Solid C# development skills, ideally with Razor Pages
• Experience deploying applications using Azure Pipelines
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• A commitment to clean code, best practices, and collaborative development

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in the healthcare or public sector
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and secure coding in government-facing apps
