We’re working with a professional services organisation operating in the automotive and insurance services sector who are mid-way through a wider transformation programme to improve and modernise its business-critical systems and reporting capabilities.

This is an Application Support focused role, acting as the first point of contact for internal system queries and issues. You’ll play a key role in keeping core applications running smoothly, supporting users across the business and working closely with the software team as systems evolve.

Day to day, you’ll respond to system questions and incidents, investigate and resolve issues and escalate more complex problems with clear detail and context. Alongside this, you’ll support testing of system changes, help document processes and contribute to continuous improvement of application reliability and usability.

The role also includes a data and reporting element, maintaining existing dashboards, checking data accuracy and making minor enhancements where required. While not a core data analyst position, you’ll work comfortably with reports and dashboards and help ensure information used by the business is accurate and dependable.

This role would suit someone early to mid-career who enjoys supporting others, solving problems and working closely with both technical and non-technical teams. Strong communication, organisation and a positive, approachable attitude are more important than deep technical or programming skills.
