Data / Reporting Analyst
We are supporting a growing organisation that has recently secured a major operational contract and is now looking to recruit a Data Analyst to support its reporting and data capability.
This role will involve working with large operational data sets, helping to transform raw spreadsheet data into structured reporting that supports operational performance and client reporting.
You will play a key role in supporting the development and ongoing management of a new reporting environment built using SQL and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with large operational datasets (often 50,000+ rows)
- Extracting, cleaning and transforming raw spreadsheet data
- Loading and structuring data within SQL databases
- Building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
- Supporting operational performance reporting
- Identifying opportunities to improve data structure and reporting processes
- Working with operational teams to understand reporting requirements
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a Data Analyst or reporting role
- Strong Excel skills and experience handling large datasets
- Some experience with SQL
- Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar BI tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience working with operational or performance data
- Experience supporting reporting for operational teams or service delivery environments
