Lead Front End Developer

We are working with one of the UK’s largest travel management company to add a Lead Front End Developer to their team.

For over 20 years, they’ve been selecting venues, managing events, and sourcing travel and accommodation for hundreds of organisations. Their reputation is built on integrity, outstanding customer service, and delivering high-quality, tailor-made solutions that meet each client’s unique needs.

Withing the role your will be working on their market leading travel assistance platform as well as building the next generation of client systems.

This role is ideal for someone who can thoughtfully introduce new approaches and improvements and evolve the UI and UX of their sites and systems as well as moving their front-end stack forward. Their platforms are used by 5,000+ clients every week, across a wide range of devices and browsers, so stability, usability and cross-browser compatibility are essential.

In terms of experience, they’re looking for a strong background in building business applications and/or commercial websites, a solid understanding of UX and UI principles, with a focus on usability and accessibility and strong technical skills covering React / Vue, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
