Power BI Developer

Leading travel and event management business are seeking a Power BI enthusiast to join their growing team in Central London with 3 days per week in the office.

Following the successful implementation of Snowflake as their single source of truth data warehouse they’re now growing their Data Team and now need to bolster the Power BI experience within the team. This hire will be a key technical resource moving forwards and help evolve and shape the reporting function moving forwards as well as helping the other 4 team members upskill.

Technically you will be an experienced head with Power BI including Dax and Power Query which is underpinned with strong data analysis and reporting skills. You’ll also have strong SQL skills with the ability to query large sets of data and be familiar with the older BI tools such as SSRS, SSAS and SSIS.

The business currently offer two standard reporting products to their client base as well as offering bespoke reports to some of their higher profile customers. They therefore need this individual to be comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders, up to C-suit level, and be comfortable taking requirements to produce their data insights and reports they need.

Future ambitions of the data team are to start investigating trends their existing business data to build predictive models to help the business identify trends, patterns and future insights / events so any experience or interest in this area would be advantageous.

Salary is paying up to £65K for the right individual and will offer 2 days from home a week as well as a strong benefits package.
