The role: (Senior) Product Owner ( & app)

\n

Note: We are currently hiring for multiple Product Owner and Senior Product Owner roles, offering opportunities to work across a range of key product domains, including Involuntary Servicing, Ready to Fly & Online Check-in, Payments, Customer Hub & Help.

\n

This role sits within the Commercial directorate and focuses on and the British Airways mobile app - core customer‐facing platforms that directly influence customer experience and commercial performance.

\n

You'll work closely with development (including offshore teams), design, research and business stakeholders to define product vision, prioritise delivery and ensure the team is focused on delivering high‐value, user‐centred outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Own product execution for customer‐facing website and app features

\nDefine and maintain a clear product vision aligned with business and customer needsPrioritise and refine the backlog to guide development and design teamsWork closely with offshore development teams to plan sprints and maintain delivery cadenceCollaborate with design and research teams to incorporate user‐centred design into deliveryUse digital analytics tools to assess performance and inform prioritisationManage dependencies including those related to airline offer and order management systemsGather and act on customer feedback throughout the product lifecycleMonitor product performance and return on investmentCommunicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to stakeholdersIdentify and mitigate delivery risks and dependenciesApprove artefacts moving into production and ensure quality standardsParticipate in agile ceremonies to support effective team working\n

  • Experience delivering customer‐facing digital products across web and mobile

\nStrong analytical and data‐led approach to product decision‐makingConfidence working with development teams, including offshore teamsStrong collaboration skills with design and research functionsClear communication and stakeholder engagement capabilityDelivery‐focused mindset with strong ownership and attention to quality\n

Your experience:

  • Experience working on features for customer-facing websites and apps

\nExperience of using digital analytics tools including Adobe Analytics and Quantum Metrics or similarExperience working with airline offer and order management systemsExperience building relationships and working with development teams who are based offshoreExperience working with design and research teams to understand customer needs and incorporate user-centred design into the product development lifecycle\n
