Senior Sales Executive | High-growth InsurTech | Hybrid (London) | £80-100K base + excellent commission
The Role:
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will lead strategic sales initiatives that connect insurers, MGAs, brokers, and Insurtech organisations with our API-driven platforms and intelligent applications. We're looking for someone with excellent experience in selling into underwriting teams across the UK insurance market, and who's keen to drive their personal skills to the next level at a leading UK data provider.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, enterprise sales leadership, and industry partnership development. You will drive high-value revenue opportunities, build executive relationships across the insurance ecosystem, and play a key role in shaping market positioning and go-to-market strategy.
This position requires strategic thinking, strong commercial leadership, and deep engagement with senior insurance stakeholders. Experience in Geospatial data, data vendors, and other insurance-adjacent service providers is heavily weighted for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close strategic high-value opportunities across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and Insurtech organisations.
- Define and execute market development strategies to expand our presence within key insurance segments.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives, technology leaders, and senior decision-makers across target organisations.
- Represent us at industry conferences, executive forums, and strategic partner engagements.
- Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, including multi-stakeholder engagements, procurement processes, and contractual negotiations.
- Structure and negotiate high-value commercial agreements, partnerships, and multi-year enterprise contracts.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and strategic account planning.
- Drive predictable revenue growth through structured sales methodologies, retention strategies, and executive engagement.
- Establish and maintain long-term executive relationships with key clients and industry partners.
- Partner closely with customer success and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and long-term client value realisation.
- Build deep expertise in our API platform, data infrastructure, and insurance technology solutions.
- Provide structured market intelligence and client feedback to influence product roadmap and strategic priorities.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and industry insight publications.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales architects, product management, marketing, and delivery teams to develop winning client solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of sales strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Support and mentor junior sales colleagues
- Own and exceed revenue targets and strategic growth objectives within assigned markets or accounts.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of winning and managing enterprise-level B2B technology or platform sales.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, including high value contracts.
- Experience engaging with senior executives and C-suite stakeholders.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
- Experience within insurance, Insurtech or financial services markets.
- Familiarity with API platforms, SaaS, cloud technologies, or data platforms.
