Trade Compliance & ERP Data Analyst
Location: Watford or Central London (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £21.15 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Long-term opportunity
Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to readiness of the Compliance and IT teams.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance & ERP Data Analyst to support day-to-day trade compliance operations while the wider team focuses on an ERP+ system implementation.
The role will focus on maintaining accurate trade data, supporting business-as-usual activities and helping prepare for the successful launch of the new system.
Hybrid working is available, typically 2-3 days per week in either the Watford or Central London office. Increased office attendance may be required during the first few weeks to support onboarding and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Classify apparel, footwear, watches, jewellery and home goods using HTS/HS tariff codes across relevant markets.
- Cleanse and validate trade data, including product classifications, country of origin, trade preferences and vendor compliance records.
- Support Intrastat reporting, commercial invoices and day-to-day trade compliance activities.
- Assist with ERP+ testing, including test planning, functional testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify data issues and ensure trade compliance information is accurate and ready for migration.
- Work collaboratively with Sourcing, Finance, Tax, Legal, Trade Compliance and IT teams.
About You
- Previous experience in trade compliance, customs or international trade is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HTS/HS tariff classification and international trade requirements.
- Experience with trade data, country of origin, trade preferences and compliance documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- ERP implementation or UAT experience would be advantageous.
