PLM & MES Delivery PMO / Implementation Manager

  • Location: London / Hybrid
  • Rate: £500–£550 per day (Inside IR35)
  • Contract Length: 6 Months

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced PLM & MES Delivery PMO / Implementation Manager to join a leading consulting-led environment, supporting the delivery of complex digital engineering programmes across enterprise clients.

This role will suit a contractor with strong experience managing PLM and MES implementations, combined with excellent stakeholder management and delivery leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of end-to-end PLM and MES programmes.
  • Oversee implementation of leading PLM tools (e.g. Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA).
  • Oversee implementation of MES platforms (e.g. Opcenter, ThingWorx, DELMIA).
  • Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate delivery activities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
  • Drive planning, risk management, and governance across the programme lifecycle.
  • Ensure successful delivery through testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Support change management and user adoption activities.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong experience in project/programme management or PMO roles.
  • Experience delivering PLM and/or MES implementations.
  • Exposure to major PLM and MES platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working within manufacturing-led industries (e.g. Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive, Defence).
