Business Analyst

Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global FMCG business who are looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing IT team, primarily working to support the implementation of their inhouse developed WMS and ERP systems. This would suit a BA with 1-2+ years of relevant industry and technology experience, looking to take their next step at a growing business where their career can progress.On offer is a salary of up to £35k + 10% bonus and a mostly remote working pattern, with an occasional need to travel to sites where the systems are being rolled out. Being commutable to Liverpool or Birmingham would be ideal as these are their big UK tech hubs. Occasional out of hours support will be required.Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of the Strategic ERP and other Business Applications
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the product required to support the business operations
  • Facilitate and participate in on-site support during application implementation
  • Gather detailed requirements from stakeholders and customers to develop appropriately detailed specifications for product features so that they are clearly understood by the development teams.
  • Confirm the requirements are distinct, unambiguous, prioritised, demonstratable, and testable
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve common incidents
  • Assist in the optimisation of systems, processes, and reports
  • Assist with the maintenance and support of IT systems and infrastructure when required
  • Undertake software testing, including creating of test plans
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in system implementations and project delivery, specifically with ERP and/or WMS software
  • Any industry experience would be highly beneficial, such as FMCG, manufacturing, fresh goods etc with an understanding of relevant processes and challenges
  • A good general IT background and experience in supporting common operating platforms
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels within a commercial environment, with the ability to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritise, meet commitments, take ownership and responsibility for tasks
