FP&A Analyst - Power BI

Broster Buchanan is delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity-backed consultancy as they look to appoint an FP&A Analyst.Supporting both regional and group-level operations, this role offers full ownership of forecasting and budgeting models across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, confident working with large or incomplete datasets, and able to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders. Strong experience with data analysis, Power BI, and financial modelling will be key to success.Responsibilities

• Lead the quarterly forecasting process, including full three-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)
• Support short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
• Build and maintain forward-looking models for planning and scenario analysis
• Prepare and distribute KPI dashboards and profitability reports across the European business
• Manage large and often incomplete data sets, identifying issues and driving process improvements
• Enhance data inputs, reporting tools, and analytics in collaboration with finance, IT, and operations
• Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
• Assist with financial evaluation and integration planning for acquisitions across Europe
• Contribute to broader FP&A initiatives, including new consolidation, budgeting, and reporting frameworks at group level

Key Requirements

• Proven FP&A experience, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including three-statement modelling
• Strong data analysis skills with experience working with large, messy, and incomplete datasets
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI; experience with VBA and SQL for automation and data handling
• Background in a Private Equity-backed business is advantageous
