My client is a technology services company, looking to appoint a Head of Procurement to be based in Swindon
As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s procurement strategy, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and contractual compliance across all technology and service categories.Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and lead the procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiations to ensure optimal commercial outcomes.
- Oversee procurement operations across all divisions
- Implement procurement best practices, governance frameworks, and risk management protocols.
The successful candidate will have p
r oven experience in a procurement role within a technology services environment.
- Ideally MCIPS qualified or equivalent
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of IT procurement, vendor management, and contract law.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Experience with procurement systems and data-driven decision-making.
