IT Project Manager

• Hands on end-to-end role and must be happy to be program & project manager & PMO
• 5+ years IT Project Management experience across both Waterfall and Agile
• Strong stakeholder management skills, exceptional communicator at all levels

POSITION TITLE:               IT Project Manager LOCATION: Home-based with regular travel across the UK, ideally located in the Northwest or Midlands ABOUT THE ROLE This is a business-critical IT Project Manager role with full responsibility for managing the delivery of IT projects in the UK.  There will be a need to run multiple internal projects simultaneously and manage the deliverables from both the in-house software team and the implementation team, as well as from business teams and external third-party vendors.  The ability to engage with stakeholders across the business and gain a detailed understanding of business processes is fundamental to success in this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure on-time and in full delivery of UK projects, primarily focused on the management of key software implementations
• Manage workstreams & robust collaboration between the business, technical, and implementation teams
• Ensure that the project teams are set up to deliver business requirements and implement change successfully
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of program & project plans and the coordination of project resources
• Identify, manage, and propose mitigations to project risks and issues
• Create and maintain other project documentation, manuals, and procedures
• Preparation of relevant reporting of project status to key stakeholders
• Present project status updates in Group Steering Meetings
• Support project implementations
• Work closely with any 3rd Party vendors and manage issues that impact delivery schedules

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years' experience as a project manager in an IT delivery field
• PRINCE2, PMP, or other formal certification in Project Management
• Excellent communication skills at all levels within a commercial environment with the ability to interpret complex requirements.
• An analytical and organised approach, as well as an understanding of change management and project management techniques
• Hands-on approach to understanding challenges & recommending solutions
• Experience of project management software
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile test methodologies
• FMCG or fresh produce experience would be advantageous
• Location ideally Northwest or Midlands
• Not more than a 1-month notice period
• Hands-on end-to-end role and must be happy to be a program & project manager & PMO office all together
• Background of working within a business & getting to know their processes in depth, and key people is crucial to success in this role
• Strong stakeholder management skills, exceptional communicator at all levels, able to present to the board

 This is a permanent It Project Manager role with a salary of £70-£80k, dependent upon experience with a need to start ASAP, so no more than 1 month's notice period will work
