IT Project Manager (CONTRACT) - Windows 11 & Infrastructure Upgrade Location: Hybrid (On-site as required in Stoke or Manchester)
Contract Length: 12 Months

Rate: Competitive (Dependent on Experience) Broster Buchanan are working with a leading global retail organisation who have an immediate opportunity for a skilled IT Project Manager to deliver a high-impact technology upgrade programme across the organisations operations. This 12-month contract role will focus on modernising systems and infrastructure to support future growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Windows 11 upgrade project, managing the transition from Windows 10 across multiple business units.
- Drive a WAN refresh initiative, including store connectivity reviews and a core network upgrade.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with strategic IT goals.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Experience:
- Demonstrable experience managing Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades in a large-scale environment.
- Strong understanding of WAN infrastructure, particularly in retail or multi-site organisations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model with occasional travel to Stoke or Manchester.
Desirable:
- Experience with EPOS systems, especially transitioning from on-premise to cloud-based platforms.
