Broster Buchanan is partnering with a major West Yorkshire employer to appoint a Finance Systems & Data Manager – ERP Transformation into a high-profile ERP transformation programme during a critical delivery phase. This is a hands-on role for a finance professional who wants to be at the centre of how a large organisation rebuilds its finance data foundations. You'll take ownership of finance master data structures, governance frameworks and controls in the run-up to ERP system go-live, then help transition those into business-as-usual operations once the new platform is in place. Working closely with colleagues across Finance, Procurement, IT and the wider business, you'll translate design principles and system requirements into practical, operational processes and making sure finance data is clean, consistent and properly governed from day one. Day to day, that means getting into the detail of cost centres, profit centres, Chart of Accounts, supplier and customer master data, WBS structures and reference data and defining standards, embedding controls, and making sure what's been designed actually works in practice.
We're looking for: - A qualified or experienced finance professional with a solid management or financial accounting grounding — you'll need to understand the data structures that underpin planning, reporting and control
- Experience of master data management, finance data governance, or financial controls — ideally within or alongside an ERP implementation
- Someone who's worked on a significant finance systems or transformation programme and understands what it takes to get from design to go-live
- Confident working across finance, IT and programme teams — you'll be a key point of contact for data and governance queries
- A bias to action — comfortable making decisions, resolving issues and driving things forward rather than waiting to be told
On offer: - 10-month fixed-term contract
- Hybrid working - an expectation to be onsite in West Yorkshire 2 - 3 days per week
- £52,000 – £65,000 depending on experience
- Excellent holiday, pension and on-site facilities — among the best you'll find regionally
