We have been exclusively retained to search for a Head of Data; a newly created role within a mid-sized, PE backed business. Leading a team of five (and with budget to further invest in both people and platforms) you will be responsible for developing, owning and delivering the data strategy. Reporting into the CFO and working closely with the CEO, COO and CMO, you will be the primary link between the business and the enterprise data teams, as you deliver a finance-led transformation from legacy systems into a data warehouse. You will be required to work at pace and bring the ability to fulfil an end-to-end data solution across governance, risk, quality, control, rigour and compliance. With a strong track record across both data science and decision science, you will be a true enabler of change and a strong people manager too. Demonstrable experience of all these aspects in a mid-sized business (within any sector) will be required.
