Infrastructure Engineer

• Outside IR35 day rate approved contract £300-£350 budget ONSITE Working
• 3 days a week onsite in Lancashire minimum must be within 1 hour commute
• Immediate start with interviews next week available

About the Role Infrastructure Engineer (3-month contract) based in North Lancashire, with 3 days onsite weekly requirements. This is a mostly on-site contract role and will require you to be within 1 hour's drive ofthe  client HQ, which is in North Lancashire  This is a short-term, delivery-focused contract. The customer will be looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal handholding, as they will be looking to pass over a good deal of these Infrastructure projects to you. Key areas the project covers:

1. Server Migration & Upgrades
   • Migration of servers and Exchange replacements/upgrades
   • Experience with Nutanix or similar infrastructure will be valuable
   • Be ready to talk about real-world migration projects you've delivered or supported
   • One of the projects is a migration of their Virtualization servers running on VMware to Nutanix
2. Endpoint Management & Cloud Tools
   • Hands-on with Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, and M365
   • Device provisioning, policy management, and troubleshooting sync/auth issues
3. Network Segregation & IP Changes
   • Implementation of VLANs or segregation work
   • Includes changing server IPs - so awareness of dependencies, DNS updates, etc.
   • Emphasis on methodical approach, risk awareness, and testing
4. General Onsite IT Support
   • You may be asked to support the helpdesk team when on-site
   • Having a collaborative, team-first attitude will go a long way
   • Mentoring of junior team members and apprentices - so good examples of where you have done this
