Senior IT Project Manager
Broster Buchanan are partnered with a household name FMCG brand who are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join their growing IT team, mainly covering their larger scale (£250k - £1m) projects across applications, integrations, infrastructure and OT/manufacturing, as part of a large scale business transformation program. On offer is a salary of £55 - £63.5k + 10% bonus + company car or £6k allowance + a great benefits package, as outlined at the bottom. The role will be on a hybrid basis with 2 or 3 days per week onsite near Kettering.Responsibilities:
- Work with IT and the business to ensure an effective approach to implementation, handover and acceptance of change
- Reporting to the IT PMO and ensuring governance is adhered to with regular reporting to the OT Programme Manager and Steering Group
- Agreement of project benefits and how these will be tracked post implementation
- Manage a matrix project team, collaborate effectively with external suppliers and staff to achieve on time, on budget, in scope delivery of project outcomes
- Define and implement a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project lifecycle
- Produce and own all project management deliverables using the established project methodology to the right level of quality
- Produce and own the project plan and controlling, managing and monitoring project timescales and budgets, reporting variances, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties and cost overruns and re-forecasting where necessary
- Build resource plans for projects and track resource utilisation, agreeing roles and responsibilities
- Continually monitors projects for risks and issues and takes the appropriate steps to mitigate
- Working alongside the wider IT PMO team to review, refine and improve processes in use and in the future
- Proven track record as a Senior Project Manager, successfully delivering similar medium - large projects across one or more of applications, integrations and manufacturing/OT transformations
- Strong knowledge of change management techniques and processes within the context of a larger scale business transformation
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships, rapport, and influence stakeholders of all levels
- Able to work with and control external vendors to ensure deliverables, deadlines and budgets are adhered to
- Able to work in a complex environment with multiple concurrent projects/portfolios, managing resources, budgets, deadlines and deliverables
- Any experience within FMCG (or similar) industries or with similar manufacturing/OT projects would be highly beneficial but isn't essential
- 25 days AL + bank holidays
- Base salary + 10% bonus + £6k car allowance
