Full Job Description
A major client of ours is looking to build a team of strong Java Engineers for a long-term project migrating legacy systems and Data into a Talend ecosystem, and is looking for experienced Senior Java Engineers.This is an approved Outside IR35 contract role with the potential to run long-term over 12 months.However, you will need to have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years to be able to gain BPSS clearance as a minimum, and ideally move towards SC level.Skill set needed:
- Solid Java development and engineering experience
- Strong Back End and performance optimisation
- Experience with data integration patterns (batch / real-time, CDC, APIs)
- Solid problem-solving and debugging skills in the context of data pipelines
- Version control and an understanding of CI/CD and deployment of data jobs
- Java development skills, including JUnit and automation testing experience
- Talend Experience and ideally with Version 8 or similar ETL Data models
- Automation Testing experience.
