π About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to deliver accurate and timely reporting, including the production of budgets, forecasting and insightful analysis for Brother International Europe.
π Role Responsibilities
- Manage BIE departmental expenses, taking responsibility for monthly results, annual budgets and ongoing monthly and quarterly forecasting, including investigating and reporting any variances.
- Maintain and manage the monthly accruals and prepayment schedules.
- Prepare monthly management meeting presentations.
- Reconcile, review and report BIEβs balance sheet, highlighting any discrepancies and key issues.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat reports.
- Manage various financial reports to support department managers
- Conduct capital expenditure (Capex) analysis and reporting
- Provide support to the DSC (Direct Service Company) webshop, including reconciliations and reporting as required
- Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial tasks and projects as required
π€ About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a commitment to completing professional qualification (study support available)
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and support sound decision making
- Effective teamworking skills
- Expertise in accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial planning and forecasting
